Hello my name is Rich Stephens, and I am the Administrator for Summit Acres, Inc., Altercare of Ohio. Summit Acres is rated as a 5 star skilled nursing facility for quality and will receive the AHCA Bronze Award in the fall of 2015.
My educational background is Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, Zane State College and Bachelor of Arts from Capital University. I have been part of the exciting and ever changing Long Term Care Profession as an Administrator since 1999.
Staff and residents know me for having a smile, positive attitude and unusual sense of humor. My passion in long term care is to produce positive outcomes for the resident we care for, which in turns assure us we have satisfied our residents and family's needs.
I have been involved with American Red Cross, Mid East Vocational School, Evergreen Village, Hunter Safety Instructor and Ohio Health Care Association for many years. When not working, my wife of 30 years and I are passionate about travel.
